Using TaleMandarin
By using this website or purchasing and using the PDFs, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not purchase the collection. Dodo Payments also presents its own buyer terms and privacy notices during checkout; those govern its payment service.
The collection
The current product is a one-time purchase of four digital PDF volumes containing 1,271 pages in total and reading selections from 20 distinct novels. The Product page describes the contents and shows sample pages. These are selected passages with vocabulary support, not complete editions of the novels or a graded Chinese course. The files and price shown at checkout control the order placed at that time.
Payment and delivery
The collection is a one-time digital purchase, not a subscription. The listed base price is USD $9.90; Dodo Payments may show a local currency, applicable tax, and the final total before you pay. Dodo processes the payment and issues the transaction record. After a successful payment, the PDFs are made available through Dodo's delivery email and Customer Portal. Use a working email address at checkout and keep a copy of the files you download. If you cannot find your order, start at the Orders page.
Permitted use
A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to download and use the supplied PDFs for your own reading and study. It does not transfer ownership of the files or the underlying literary works. You may not resell, publicly post, redistribute, sublicense, or offer the PDFs as a download to others. You may keep reasonable personal backups. Any use of third-party novel text beyond the supplied study materials remains subject to the rights of its respective owner.
Billing and refund questions
Dodo Payments is the seller of record for checkout and handles payment-related questions, including refund requests, under its buyer terms and applicable law. Use the order receipt or Dodo support channels for a billing or refund request. We do not promise a separate refund period on this website. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Intellectual property
The TaleMandarin name, website design, and original material on this site remain with their respective owners or licensors. Titles, characters, and passages from third-party novels remain subject to their owners' rights. A purchase of this study collection does not give you permission to reproduce or distribute those underlying works.
Website and files
We work to keep the website and order links available, but access can be interrupted by maintenance, network problems, or third-party services. The PDFs are reading aids; learning outcomes and compatibility with every device or PDF application are not guaranteed. These statements do not affect consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and help
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and date on this page. For an existing purchase, use Orders to access Dodo's Customer Portal. The Contact page shows the current status of TaleMandarin support; a dedicated contact address has not yet been published.
